I first met Darrin when he photographed my two sister’s weddings less than 6 months apart.  Even then I noticed Darrin’s attention to detail, unique style, and desire to make each photography session personal.  Over 20 years later I found myself in need of a wedding photographer and a reception venue, so I contacted Darrin.  Clark and I met with Darrin at Avalon, and both of us were impressed with the package Darrin offered which included his skill as a master photographer as well as the use of Avalon.  The price was difficult to beat, and the fact that we wouldn’t be on a tight schedule was a huge factor, but what influenced us the most was the personal touch we knew he would add to our wedding, including the engagement session and my bridal session along with the wedding itself and the reception.  You see, my mother and oldest sister have died over the time that I have known Darrin, but he had ideas on ways to include them in our wedding.  Throughout those 20 years he also took 1st birthday pictures of my nephew and my niece.  Darrin also photographed that same nephew’s senior pictures, and my sister intends to use Darrin for my niece’s senior portraits this year.

Darrin’s skill combined with the natural beauty of Avalon have created memories that Clark and I will never forget.
